1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

1.1 A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation via email. Tourism Slovenia (or our partners) reserves the right to accept or decline any booking.

1.2 Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Bookings may be made directly through our website or authorized agents.

1.3 It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of your booking confirmation and travel details.

1.4 We accept major credit cards including Visa and MasterCard. By booking, you authorize us to contact you via email regarding your reservation.

2. SERVICES PROVIDED

2.1 Tourism Slovenia offers a variety of experiences including day tours, weekend getaways, themed packages, and private trips. Services typically include transportation, guiding, and where specified, accommodation and entry fees.

2.2 Accommodation (if included) is booked through third-party providers and subject to their individual terms and availability.

3. CONTRACTING PARTIES

3.1 Your contract is with the legal entity organizing the specific tour or package—this may be Tourism Slovenia or one of our partner providers.

3.2 In many cases, we act as an intermediary for third-party providers such as hotels, transport companies, and local guides. These providers operate under their own terms and limitations of liability.

3.3 Tourism Slovenia is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers.

4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

4.1 It is your responsibility to have valid travel documents, visas, and insurance before travel. Tourism Slovenia is not responsible for any denied entry or delays.

4.2 You must follow the instructions and authority of our guides and staff. We reserve the right to refuse participation or remove individuals who behave inappropriately or jeopardize group safety or enjoyment.

4.3 You are responsible for being at the departure point on time. Missing a departure may result in cancellation without refund.

4.4 You are responsible for your belongings. Tourism Slovenia is not liable for loss, damage, or theft.

4.5 If you have any physical limitations or special needs, please notify us in advance. We may not be able to accommodate all special requirements.

4.6 By joining a tour, you agree that we may use photographs or video taken during the tour for promotional purposes without further consent or compensation.

5. LOCAL PROVIDERS AND EXCURSIONS

5.1 Optional activities or excursions not included in the base package are subject to local providers’ terms and are non-refundable.

5.2 You are responsible for keeping track of vouchers or tickets issued to you. Lost vouchers cannot be replaced.

6. INSURANCE

6.1 Travel insurance is not included in our packages. We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellation, baggage, and personal liability.

6.2 Our company is insured for insolvency. In such a case, your prepaid travel arrangements and repatriation are protected.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

7.1 Tourism Slovenia is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations due to weather, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, mechanical issues, or other events beyond our control.

8. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

8.1 Cancellation policies vary depending on the service provider and package. You will be informed of the applicable cancellation terms during booking.

8.2 Tourism Slovenia reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour in case of low participation, unforeseen circumstances, or safety concerns. In such cases, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.
