This experience takes you back to the time of Napoleon’s campaigns, where history and nature intertwine in a group challenge of strength, skill, and cooperation. In the pristine environment of Triglav National Park, participants step away from daily distractions and surrender to the rhythm of the trail, the forest’s quiet, and the starlit night. The journey includes an introduction at the Kobarid Museum, a walk past historic fortifications and remote valleys, setting up a bivouac, and preparing a meal over an open fire. Participants try their hand at signaling with mirrors, smoke, and symbols, and write their own message on Napoleon’s Bridge – a gesture of connection and remembrance. The autumn colors of the Soča Valley create a vivid backdrop, highlighting the value of shared experience, simplicity, and authenticity.

Day 1 – Kobarid Museum and Fortress of Kluže
The experience begins with an emotional visit to the Kobarid Museum, followed by a walk past the Fortress of Kluže. Evening preparations include setting up bivouac and cooking together.

Day 2 – Trenta Valley Immersion
The group journeys deep into the Trenta Valley, where participants engage in survival skills, communication with mirrors and smoke, and experience the silence of the forest. Meals are cooked outdoors with authentic, simple ingredients.

Day 3 – Napoleon’s Bridge
On the final day, participants write and exchange symbolic ‘soldier’s messages’ on Napoleon’s Bridge, closing the journey with reflection and connection.
