IN SAID SLOVENIAN VENICE, WE AWAKEN OUR PLIGHT TO BECOME GEORGE THE SHINING KNIGHT AND WITNESS PIRAN’S LIBERATED MIGHT!

Our knight Saint George will welcome kids at the main bus station in Piran. Our gathering will last three hours and we will cover three kilometers. Together we will explore this lovely city and go on a treasure hunt. We will peak into mysterious Venetian history by walking through the magical narrow streets of Piran. On Tartini square, we will admire the most famous Venetian house- Benečanka and other palaces build with pure Venetian spirit. The majestic church of Saint George will be our next stop to glimpse a beautiful view over the sea and Piran. We will visit the Trg 1. Maja, where the treasure is waiting to be discovered. Later on we will get to know everything about the lowest underwater point near Piran and slowly head back to the meeting point. The legend of Saint George the knight and his battle with a dragon will be the main thread of our journey. Do your children already know the story?

SAIL AS A CAPTAIN THROUGH KOPER

OUR JOURNEY THROUGH TIME SHALL REVEAL HOW ISTRIA’S CAPITAL ON THE GOAT ISLE HAS BECOME!

Captain Cappo will welcome the children at the bus stop Soča in Koper. The gathering will last three hours and we will cover two kilometers. The first stop will be a market and a playground, where we will compete on our captain Cappo’s polygon. At the Carpaccio square, we will admire his stone house with gothic windows and a tavern, the former salt warehouse and find out more about the Column of Saint Justine. Passing by the mighty Venetian palaces, we will arrive at the platform with a view of the harbor Luka Koper. If we are lucky, we might also see a cruise ship. Walking towards the main square, we will see the smallest house in the world. Through Čevljarska street towards Prešeren square there is a beautiful fountain in the shape of a bridge. Through the last of the preserved city gates Muda we will leave the town and return back to the starting point. The main thread of our journey is the life story of captain Cappo. BECOME A SALT WORKER ON SALT PANS

ALONG THE GREEN PATCH OF PORTOROŽ WE SHALL WALK, TO EMBRACE SEČA AND AS TRUE SALTERN WORKERS TALK!

Saltpan workers will greet kids at the bus staton in Lucija. Our gathering will last three hours and we will cover almost five kilometers. Together we will be learning about the cultural heritage of the 700-year-old tradition. Walking through the camp, we will stop for a short workout at the outdoor fitness in Cape Seča following with a visit of the Forma Viva open-air exhibition of stone sculptures. Our path will lead us above the Seča saltpans and offer an amazing view. On our way we will be equipped with necessary tools for work at the saltpans and try out what it means to be a worker for a day. After that we will return to where we started our journey. An old tale about a hand mill that makes the sea salty is the main thread of our adventure. Do your children already know the story?

DISCOVER THE FISHERMEN IN IZOLA

IN THE GRAND COMPANY OF A SKILLFUL FISHERMAN, WE SAIL TO THE ISLE THAT ONCE WAS AND EXPLORE IT THOROUGHLY EN MASSE!

Brave men will welcome children at the main bus station in Izola. Our gathering will last three hours and we will cover three kilometers. We will take a walk thorough the sunny Izola promenade to the Svetilnik beach. We will try our luck as fishermen and hope for a good catch. In the nearby meadow, we will play locomotor games and later climb the hill to get to the highest peak and visit the Church of Saint Maurus. We will then descent to the Manzioli square and admire the Venetian buildings. On our way to the starting point through Ljubljanska street we will learn about the herbs growing in pots by our path. The story of the Izola fishermen tradition is the main thread of the journey. Do your children already know the story?

MEET A MERMAID IN STRUNJAN

OUR MERMAID SHALL GUIDE US THROUGH SLOVENIA’S ONE AND ONLY TRUE LAGOON, TO THE NORTHERNMOST SALTWORKS AND THE HIGHEST CLIFF IN THE ADRIATIC!

The mermaid will welcome your children on the children’s playground on the beach Krka Strunjan. Our gathering will last three hours and we will cover five kilometers. We will head towards the beautiful nature of the protected Nature Park Strunjan. Passing the saltpans and the lagoon, we will climb up to the Church of St. Mary’s depiction, leading to Strunjan’s cross and enjoy the best view over the cliff. Moon bay is one of rare unspoiled parts of Slovenian coast, called also Bay of the Mermaids. We will head down to the Strunjan beach, visit salt workers house and return to the starting point of our journey. The legends of the mermaids singing at the Strunjan peninsula is the main thread of our gathering. Do your children already know the story?
